Do Thoughts Affect Your Health? Absolutely!

The question is "which thoughts?" - those in the conscious mind or the unconscious mind. Your mind is similar to a computer in that most of your behavior (thoughts, belief systems, emotions) is the result of programs that were downloaded into you from a very early age. Repeated use of these programs solidifies their existence in your "unconscious mind." Conscious control of these programs is difficult.

For the most part, these programs run your life. So if you are not happy with your life - psychological or physical malady - how do you delete harmful programs? Simple. Use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or get your acupuncturist to perform it on you. It's a method whereby you or the practitioner tap on acupuncture points to release negative belief systems holding you back from psychological and physical well being.

Acupuncture for Weight Loss? YES!

It's a simple procedure - five tiny needles in each ear for about 30 minutes. Here's what you get: increased energy, decrease in taste (40%), abdominal fullness, frequent urination and defecation. Those effects will last anywhere from 2 days to 6 days depending on strength of your endocrine system and whether you are taking prescription drugs.

What's nice about this treatment is that you don't experience any dangerous side effects such as anxiety, irritability and nausea. Why? You are not suppressing the function of your organs but rather strengthening and tonifying their ability to do their job. You feel better, more energetic and more balanced.

Here’s what clients are saying:

Lil B., Ocala, FL - "It worked beautifully. People at the office were noticing something different about me - that I had more energy. I stopped craving sweets and all that junk food. I have had two treatments and lost four pounds. One treatment lasted over a week for me.” - After only two weight loss treatment using all ear acupuncture and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

Kim C., Pompano Beach FL - "I'm tellin' everyone about you kid. Your treatments are what made the difference. I haven't been this thin since I was in high school." She had struggled with weight loss for years, but more seriously after a breakup with a longtime boyfriend.

You will lose between 1 and 2 pounds per week which is perfect! This is real weight that you will keep off.

Here's what I recommend:

* Give the Program a 5-Week Commitment
* A total of 10 acupuncture treatments in 5 week period
* You have 2 acupuncture treatments every week

Help! My Baby Has Chronic Ear Infections!

DOs
  1. A few drops of room-temperature olive oil into your child's ear to relieve pain works well.
  2. Ask your acupuncturist about homeopathic remedies that work well for pain that is severe to mild - Aconite, Pulsatilla
  3. Allow your acupuncturist to place pellets on the baby's ear to reduce a lot of pressure.
  4. Ask your acupuncturist about Chinese herbal formulas to relieve infection.
DON'Ts
  1. Antibiotics should only be used in emergency situations. These are meant to kill bacteria, but most ear infections are due to viruses and shifting pressure on the inner ear from new teeth.
  2. Eliminate dairy from your child's diet: cow's mild, cheese, yogurt, pudding and ice cream. These encourage the accumulation of phlegm and fluid buildup in the inner ear.

Bedwetting! @# Acupuncture Can Help!

About 20% of children five years old and younger have this problem - bedwetting. And it's usually at night while the child is asleep.

A study published by the Journal of the American Academy of Child Adolescent Psychiatry shows that treating acupuncture points in the hand of our child is just as successful as other therapies, minus the annoyances and dangerous side effects.

The good news is that Acupuncturists don't have to use needles to stimulate the points. They can use magnets or electro-stimulation to activate these points just as effectively. The treatment is simple and takes about 20 minutes.

Traditional therapies include behavior modification with elaborate alarm systems and drug therapy. The alarm systems wake up other members of the family and do not work until your child has already wet the bed. Drug therapy typically with Desmopressin only works about 22% of the time and can trigger dangerous side effects.

Several factors can cause bedwetting such as stress, changes in sleep patterns, nervous system disorders and hormonal imbalances. Acupuncture addresses all the these possible causes by treating internal organs and the meridian system within your child's body.
